I am only seeing the option to save GA preset, but I imagine this would not back up all the samples etc, if the project is deleted, samples moved etc. Also, I would want to search my kits in the same browser as all the factory content, how do I go about saving in this way?
THANK YOU,
There is a right click contextmenu in Groove Agent. There you will find “Export Kit with Samples”. That saves your Kit with used samples in your Cubase user Library folder (VST3 Presets/Steinberg Media Technologies/Groove Agent) where also all your other user presets are also stored. So you can back all you user content up and also re-use it on another computer or when re-installing Cubase. And of cource you can access it via browser/Media Bay like any other preset.

OK Thank You but where is that?where is VST3 Presets
On Windows 10/11 it’s under
“Documents\VST3 Presets\Steinberg Media Technologies\Groove Agent SE”
In version Elements 13.0.30 exported kit is found in:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Steinberg\Groove Agent SE\Export
not:
C:\Users\Username\Documents\VST3 Presets\Steinberg Media Technologies\Groove Agent SE
Both are existing, god knows why.
