Trying to set my master fader at +3dB just like you can do in some metering plugins. Is this possible and if so how can I do it? Thanks!

No not that way. Im trying to make the meter read that way not actually make it louder.

You cannot recalibrate the meters, only make the colours change at different points.
And if you´re talking about an “RMS +3dB” option you can´t do it in Cubase 6, since it does not have RMS level meters. You have that option in C 7 control room meter.
