Total newbie to Cubase here. I am having trouble figuring out how to step up different monitor speakers. Sometimes I use an external USB powered (Bose) speaker, and at other times I want to use AirPods.
Easy enough to do this for MacOS, but I can’t figure out how to do this with Cubase – the monitor speakers do not follow the system choice as best I can tell. I tried to set up a new bus, but Cubase did not recognize AirPods (which were active on MacOS), and hence I could not associate them with the new output bus.
LOL. Yep, total newbie here, first time I tried opened Cubase . . .
How can I tell Cubase to use the currently selected (from MacOS) audio device?
Solution: Open Studio Setup. Click on Audio System. On the right there is an ASIO Driver dialog box where you can select any of the audio systems set up on your Mac.
Let me know if there is a better way – as mentioned, this is literally the first time I opened up Cubase.!
Not a mac user so I may be missing something but can’t you create a core audio aggregate device of all your speakers and then use control room to switch betweeen them?
