I am using Cubase 11 Elements, which does not have sidechain compression, so have installed some 3rd party sidechain plugins (RoughRider3 or ATK SideChainCompressor). My question is, how do I set these up so that the bassline dips in volume whenever the kick drum plays? I have added these plugins as Inserts on the bassline track, however I cannot see any option in them to link to the kick drum also. So for anyone who has used these plugins, how do I do it? Thanks.
