How to stop click during recording?

Hi!

I am trying to figure out how to stop the metronome (click) at the end of a piece. I have a tempo track and time signature tracks set up and they work just fine. But I want the click to automatically stop in everyone’s cue sends usually at the end of the song with a ritard or whatever. Having to hit the “C” on the keyboard every time is lame…there must be a way.

Please help!

“C” is the normal Key Command for Click but you can re-assign that to another key, or, perhaps to a physical controller.

You could put an automated mute or fade at the end of selections for the Cues if you wanted to bother with it.
