Are you referring to the Score Editor?

If not, please specify where in Cubase you are working.

Hi,

I work on the score Editor and I would like to know how to transpose the notes and the chords in the same time in a page of music… ? in a score ? For example my score is in F (Dm) and I’d like to transpose into D (Bm) ? Notes and chords all together…

Open the Transpose section in the Inspector or use the Logical Editor

Logical Editor:

Hi Steve, Yes, I work on the score Editor and I would like to understand
how to transpose a score, to read it in another tonality… For example
from F to D… How to move the notes and the chords on the same score?
Thank you for telling me ! I work with Cubase 14
Hope to read you

Hi I found a way to transpose the notes by using the"Inspector", but I would like to change the chords in the same time. I transposed the melody that I wrote in D, but the chords stayed in F. How do I have to manage to move the chords in D as the melody ? Thank you for helping me.

Operations work on the selected notes.

Hi, sorry but for the moment it doesn’t work properly…

I can transpose the notes but not the chords above the melody…

You have to transpose the chords separately. Select all the chords on the chord track and change the root-note accordingly in the info-line:

It helps to be precise in the terms used. “Chord Symbols” as opposed to chords.

Take the time to translate these posts if you haven’t already.

Hi, I tried the process to change the root-note but it doesn’t work…I selected all the chords and when I click on the root-note above, nothing happens. Did I forget something ?

After trying few things, I found the way to transpose… But It’s more tedious than with the ancient versions of Cubase…(3.7 / 5 / 8 / 8.5 / 10…)… I’m a bit lost but thank you for helping

me !
