How to turn off rehearsal marks over a staff group

Hi!

I’m working on a jazz big band score. My rehearsal numbers in the score appear only at the top, except for the Trumpet One part, where they also appear unexpectedly. I would like them to show only at the top of the score; I just can’t figure out how to tell Dorico not to show them above the Trumpet 1 part.
Does anyone know how to do that?

Check the settings in the System Objects section of the Staves and Systems page of Library > Layout Options.

Brilliant. Thanks so much. Their online help manual did not get me there.

This is the top result when searching “rehearsal mark top of score”.

The final paragraph explains that rehearsal marks are system objects, with a link below that takes you to instructions for changing where system objects appear.

This is not the question I asked.

Lillie, the link you shared does not explain how to enable or disable the appearance of rehearsal marks for different staff groups within a score. I can’t find that information in it. I am specifically looking for the answer that dspreadbury posted.
Regardless, my question has been answered, and the matter is now resolved.
Thanks both of you for that!

I’m aware, that’s why I said there’s a link at the bottom that takes you to the instructions specifically for that.

I shared that link because it’s where the connection between “rehearsal marks” and “system objects” is identified. This tells you that “system object positions” is what you’re looking for.
