How to use Realtek Audio Surround with Cubase

Hello friends,
I don’t have a multioutput soundcard (ur22c) but I just want to HEAR/TEST surround with Cubase.
My Realtek onboard soundcard has surround outputs, it works great with my 5,1 logitech.

Is there anyway to use it surround with Cubase?
Which driver should I use ? In which driver can I see seperate outputs?

Can you please help me ? Thanksss

(I don’t have realtek asio, this is a 2015 model mb)

Cubase 12
MSI x99a Tomahawk MB
Intel i7 / 64gb ram
Windows 10
Steinberg UR22c

If there is no Realtek ASIO driver, which driver do you use?
In case it is the Generic Low Latency driver, you would need to open its control panel and select at least 3 stereo outputs as outputs, or 6 mono or maybe there is even a surround 5.1 offered as a choice?

For the settings in Cubase please refer to the manual.

The problem is you can’t see Multiple Outputs in

  • ASIO4All
  • FL Studio ASIO
  • Generic Low Latency ASIO

only

  • MAGIX ASIO
shows multiple outputs of Realtek…It shows but if you select them nothing happens…

Well, then I am sorry but it is not possible.
Realtek needs to provide a proper ASIO driver.

I use Asio Link Pro.

How are your logitech speakers connected with the soundcard?
If the connection is optical or spdif there is no way. You will need to encode the audio with any ac3 encoder (ffmpeg)
If the connection uses 6 analog outs you can do it with asio4all + asio link pro.
