How to write a second voice on the same staff?

Hello everybody,

I would like to know how to read another voice on the same staff ?

I wrote a melody (voice 1) and I would like to write a second voice (voice 2), an upper one separated from the first one !! Where do I have to go to manage the writing of this second voice ? Thank you for telling me.

Sincerely

François

I do see in the upper space in the score editor the four boxes 1 2 3 4 on the right but I don’t know how to reach the way to active each voice…

I have an other question about the writing of the notes … I remembered that it was possible to write few “cue notes” with the ancient version o Cubase… Impossible to find how to draw a “cue note” with Cubase 14… Thank you so much to tell me how to manage.

Sorry, How to write a second voice on the same staff … using the assignations 1, 2, 3 , or 4

Thank you for helping me… Sincerely. François

From Cubase 15 pro this is the procedure:

It must be set for each track individually, afaik.

Hi Buer,

Thank you so much…

Is there a simple way ti hide, as before under Cubase… Just select and click “H” and it .works… what aboutnow ?? thank for telling me

It depends on what you want to hide!
You can hide a lot of things/elements in the score; notes, rests, signposts, tracks and more. But the action to accomplish it depends on what you want.
