Hello! I have already used my Halion 7 trial without trying this so i want to know your experiences!
I wonder how well EXS presets work in Halion 7? My idea is to transfer all my custom sample libraries from EXS into Halion. Does it translate Round Robins and velocity layers and so on? Thanks!
I’m no EXS24 expert and I didn’t come across an EXS program with round robin so far but I can say that mapping, velocity layer, note off layer and groups in general will be converted as expected.
Even if the Layer Alternate module for Round Robin is missing it should be quite easy to add them due to the existing groups (layer).
For the filter and modulation setting is postprocessing necessary anyway.
