8.0.20 is unstable and getting crash quite often on my mac(yosemite).
how are others?

Very solid here. I’d go so far as to say the most stable Cubase I’ve had on Mac.
Many crashes are caused by third party plug-ins. Try removing those and see if the problem remains.
Meaning that plugs that worked in .10 do not work or cause crashes in .20?

That may very well be the case. The easiest way to make sure is it remove all third party plugins and see if the problem remains.

I found Automap cause this unstable thing!
It was kind of strange I had a bunch of crashes the first time I used it, but for the past few days it’s been pretty solid on my projects. Maybe only 1 or 2 crashes, funny what we settle for, but time saved in Cubase out weighs the crashes for me I guess.
Fine here. Yosemite and iMac 2013.
Working great here too…except for Waves plugins randomly crash the system
