I know this was answered for Halion 6, but if I upgrade HS2 to HS3, will it retain the sound library and be compatible with old projects where I used HS2 sounds?

Yes, your old projects will just automatically load HALion Sonic 3.

Another question. Halion 6 and Halion Sonic 3 are supposed to be dongle-free right? So what if I upgrade my HS2 to HS3, can I remove the e-licenser after?

No, if you upgrade from HS2 your license will be replaced on the USB-eLicenser. Our team is working on a solution to move the license from the USB to the local soft eLicenser though.
