Hi, I’m doing practice files for my choir. The sound of the main voice is a piano (Yamaha S90ES), and the accompaniment for that particular piece is a string orchestra, and the first movement is mainly in pizzicato. My ears told me that the Contrabass (HSO Double Basses Combi) was too high, so I checked with an application on my cell phone. The piano is about 5 cents higher than 400 Hz (which it’s ok), but the contrabass pizzicato… 25 cents too high. Arco is better (about 5 cents too high), but the pizz is very off…!
