Hi. I have a background hum when any guitar is connected to my UR242 using either input 1 or 2 and I can’t find a way to stop it. When I record a guitar I have brief pops, clicks and some distorted sounds and wondered if this is connected to the background hum. I’m rather new to all this so if you have the time to reply would you be able to speak in dummies language for me please? Thanks for reading this.
Most likely it sounds like Electromagnetic Interference from the computer being picked up by the guitars pickups. Try moving away from the computer.
