The Hair Thieves make an eclectic mix of poppy, soundtracky, indie rock.
As a band, the two of us in The Hair Thieves, both use Cubase.
I use Pro 9.5 and my writing partner Artist.
Other than a couple niggles (like are the extra panner controls really pro functionality), we have no issues swapping projects between Artist and Pro versions of Cubase. I just need to remember not to use any Pro effects / instruments, which is easy to do, by just using third party ones instead.
