I’m considering to make an Hymnal in Dorico…
Do somebody have any suggestions about making it in one Project with different flows or all songs in separate files?
I strongly advise one project file per song, export them to PDF, and compile them in InDesign. It’s not a good idea to try this all in Dorico, certainly not for anything more than a couple dozen hymns. For starters, if you move flows around, you lose manual staff spacing adjustments.
And then there’s the general difficulty of working with flows. Hymnals may easily have 600+ songs. You don’t want to try to juggle that many flows, trust me…
