I use Cubase 6.5 and run Hypersonic 2 for sounds.
After installing Cubase 6.5 on a new PC (Windows 10) I can not longer install Hypersonic 2. During the installation process I get an error message that says “there are other active processes which disturb the installation process”.
Any help?
I take it you’re on a 32-bit build? Either way I would not have gone the Windows 10 route. I’m on Windows 7 64 bit with Cubase 8.5 Pro and will remain on that OS as long as possible. There’s no benefit to moving to Windows 10. None at all.
I’m on 64 bit. I agree, I had to upgrade because I also trade stocks and needed a faster machine (was previously on XP). Now I’m thinking about downgrading to Windows 8. hmm, or maybe throw Hypersonic 2 in the bin and buy a newer equivalent. So annoying these bloody upgrades.
