I am getting background noise in my exported midi files. How do I fix it?

It might be similar to this as described. Do you see very low midi notes on some of the tracks? Midi files do not contain audio, they only trigger audio/samples.

Thanks for all your help! I found the problem to be in VLC. When I first played the midi file I got a background drone, but when I hit replay the drone went away.
