So I have a specific sample I made (in a unique project purely for that sample), when I listen to it before export, sound perfectly balanced, when I listen to it after export its HARD pan to the right, as if the right side is about 30% louder.
The moment I put that sample inside my main project - when I solo channel, sound ok, when I unsolo it hard pan to the left ..
I honestly checked everything, even made a completely new bus, even tried to put it in a different project completely and problem stay the same - what’s wrong with that sample / why cubase refuse to read it / export it correctly???
Of course you’re going crazy, because Cubase is perfect! You just have to spend 10 hours with all the bugs to figure out the work-arounds. Lol. Just my opinion. I wish I could help.
Hi,
what kind of channel configurations (stereo, mono) do you use
on the track with the sample
on the track after reimporting the rendered sample (still the same project?)
in the new project containing the track with the sample?
I assume all tracks are routed to your Stereo Out? Any other busses involved?
Did you check automations, plugins etc?
In cases like this screenshots have proven to be really helpful.
I don’t think there’s a bug involved, probably just some case of routing / automation stuff happening somewhere in the background.
Hello, even on a new bus the issue persist so no automation whatsoever ..
Stereo out 2 channels on all my projects, only issue with that sample.
Yes the issue is with that sample only, I will post a screenshot of the sample creation project ..
In the screenshot its the entire project, notes:
you can see in the meter its harder on the left side but in reality I hear it 100% balanced inside cubase.
After Export in any format its actually FAR louder in the right side.
Inside other projects while solo its complteley balanced.
If not solo its hard pan to the left side. (as seen in the meter ..)
I honestly never had such a bizzare amd weird issue ever with ANY sample in my entire experience with cubase last 3 years ..

Any idea? thanks! <3
EDIT: I actually tried to INVERT the channels and the issue is exactly the same just opposite .. but I still hear it completely fine before export and INSIDE cubase .. I honestly don’t get it ..
Alright I gave up and decided to remake the entire sample project from scratch ..
I honestly have no idea what was wrong with the first attempt but now it seems balanced and working just fine ..
