I am not able to transfer sound to outside speaker system-only internal-mac

I am not able to connect my New Mac
to outside speakers through the headphone jack… I Music work on my Mac but Dorico only sounds on internal speakers.

Hi @gaokerlund, and welcome to the Forum.

You can go in menu Edit > Device Setup > Device Control Panel… and choose you headphone as the output. You can also uncheck Automatically Configure Devices, to avoid switching back to the speakers, if desired (If you have it on, Dorico should switch to the headphones output, though, once you plug in the cable)
