This is so bizarre. I bought the Nuendo 14 → 15 Upgrade on April 7th, 2026 for $173.19. I see the charge on my credit card from FS STEINBERG. But for the first time in all these years, I decided not to bother doing the upgrade for a while and I’m just now getting to it, but I don’t see the product anywhere in my account, and I don’t see an email from Steinberg with the Activation code. It’s like it never happened-I even started questioning myself until I looked back over my credit card bill and sure enough there is the charge and it’s the exact same amount that I paid the year before for the earlier upgrade (strangely, that earlier email shows up just fine). So what do I do to get in touch with someone to find the upgrade code? Thanks!
The mail was sent from fastspring.com.
Your account won’t show any sign of an update until you redeemed the Download Access Code. That’s the one you’ll see in Fastspring’s email.
Please, make sure to include all folders (unknown, Spam) looking for that mail. Just a reminder: The email adress related to the purchase (your credit card) doesn’t necessarily have to be identical with the one that’s related to your Nuendo account!
Yeah - no email at all from Fastspring (I checked all the folders). I only have one email account for Steinberg - the same account I’ve been using since Cubase 5. This is really bizarre. I guess I need to figure out how to reach out to customer support even though the only record I have of the transaction on my end in the credit card statement.
As I said, this isn’t necessarily the same email account which is associated with your credit card. Have you checked other email accounts, too?
IF the email with the DAC landed in your Spam folder then it was probably emptied in the meantime.
If you can’t find an email in any of your accounts just reach out to FastSpring’s customer support. They should have a record of the purchase and they will surely be able to solve the issue.
Also check spam folders just in case the sender is unknown. Has happened to me a few times when stuff I needed ended up in that folder.
As I said, I have been buying Steinberg stuff with this credit card for many years. In fact, I just got the Wavelab upgrade this week which - when I received the typical email -it reminded me to go ahead and install the Nuendo upgrade. The wavelab email came through no problem. It’s very weird. Possibly I mistakenly put it in spam and it got deleted.
Fastspring got me sorted out! Great customer service! I guess I had put a typo in my email, so I had never even received the email. It figures that would have been the one time that I wasn’t even planning on activating early.
