I had to reboot my computer when my Cubase 6.5 froze while trying to open a song. After the reboot I could no longer get the program to open. While nothing shows on the screen in the Task Manager it shows it as “running”. When I end the task I get a message asking for the activation code for the license. I received a Zero Down Time temporary activation code and successfully put it into the ELCC. I still cannot get the program to open up. I received a link from Steinberg to create an installation disc and successfully did that and then successfully reloaded the 6.5 into my computer. Still nothing. Is there anyone who has experienced anything like this or has any idea what is going on. Steinberg no longer supports 6.5 and I worked with a guy from Sweetwater for over an hour to try and figure it out but he could come up with no solution as well. I am at a total loss. Seems no one can explain what happened much less how to remedy the situation. Help!!

How does it look like in the eLCC? Do you have a valid license, please?
If yes, try to reinstall Cubase. As you are on Windows, install it as administrator, please.
