Hi everyone! Congratulations for the new version.
To be able to work with large orchestral scores, I have a 27" screen that I have set up vertically (i.e., rotated 90°). With Dorico Pro5, I was able to read the scores by having to resize the program so that it wouldn’t overflow the screen. But with Dorico Pro6, I can no longer resize the screen as I want. I think this is related to the new fill view feature.
Can you help me find a solution, because I feel like I’m less comfortable working than before? It’s a shame because the new features are very useful.
It may be that the lower status bar is trying to show too many things, causing it to be wider than your screen. Try right-clicking on it and deselecting some of the bits that you don’t need to see – that will let the status bar be narrower.
Hi Asherber, thank you to answer so quickly. It works just fine the way you have suggested! Thank you very much!
It might be nice if the transposition type and view type selectors in the status bar were implemented as some kind of popup list instead of separate buttons – it would save space.
Abslolutely!
Out of curiosity and because this phenomenon has occured multiple times since the introduction of more information on the status bar:
- What resolution does your portrait 27" monitor have?
- Which OS are you using?
- Which desktop scaling ratio is being applied to that portrait 27"?
Thanks in advance!
My portrait 27" has a 1728 x 1117 (default) resolution.
- macOS Sequoia 15. 4. 1
- In Dorico Zoom is set to 150%
