I cannot get Pitch Correction to work in WL12

Yesterday I tried to get pitch correction to work. It works fine in WL 11. I was trying to take the pitch down one octave so I could slow down a tape recording. In WL11 it works fine and it shows the length doubling but in WL12 after processing it still shows the original length. Has something changed??? Thanks in advance.

You may have to disable length preservation.

Hi!

It works the same in WL 11.2 or WL 12 with Length Preservation set to %
what you need or?

regards S-EH

Both version of WL are set to exactly the same setups. I have “Length Preservation” turned off in both. What is weird is that WL11 works fine but WL12 does not change the length of the material. I checked and rechecked the settings. Thanks for the replies…

As far as I can see, this works correctly in WaveLab 12.
What exact pitch settings are you using?

Been a WL user since version 1.6.2, so I know where the length information is but thanks anyway.

I shut down my machine on Saturday and restarted it on Sunday and reopened WL12 everything was “back to normal”. Thanks for all the helpful advice. I guess it was just a “glitch”. Seems to be a lot of them in WL12. Maybe WL is getting too complex???

Its always seemed complex to me!
Personally its been a game changer for me since I got on board and up to speed.
And all the improvements from WL 10 >>11>>12 have been very welcome additions.

Thanks PG
