I can't get my project to play out of my computer speakers

I’m using the ASIO driver and selected my speakers in the Control Panel, but still no sound from Cubase. It worked before, but stopped after connecting a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. I change the driver back to ASIO but still no sound. Help!

A few basic trouble shooting steps.

Does it work in other audio apps ?
Can you see audio on the Cubase meters ?
Are you using Control Room ? - and what is in the routing panel (press f4) ?
