I use a Macstudio M2 Max 96gb of memory, and a 4tb internal HD with two external 4 TB SSDs. I contacted Steinberg support and what they told me to do, I did. It didn’t work. Any suggestions? Cubase 14 Pro had worked with 3rd party plugins and instruments. Thanks.
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Do you start Cubase in the Native mode or in Rosetta mode?
What kind of plug-ins are you talking about? Do you mean the built-in plug-ins or 3rd party plug-ins?
And what did Steinberg support tellyou that you have already done ?
You might want to try giving Cubase full disk access via Settings→Privacy→Full Disk Access
All my SSL, Slate Digital, Waves, even Serum 2 doesn’t work though they are in the cache.
They had me take it and out it on my desktop. They had me get to the “hidden files.”
I did. Didn’t work. The plg0ins are in the cache.
Hi,
What kind of cache do you mean, please? Are the plugins with VST2 or VST3?
Are the plugins older?
You can select Cubase in the finder, hit Comand+I and select “run in Rosetta Mode” - that might help.
Thanks. I am trying that. It seems to take hours for Cubase to load. Is that normal?
No.
You restarted and then tried to launch Cubase? And Cubase is on the internal hd not on a usb stick or something?
