I am using the Garritan Jazz band library in Dorico. I cant seem to get the reverb affect to work. The reverb fx nob on mixer does nothing. Also I cant get it to work through the Aria player. Any sugestions?
Could you please post a demo project file? Thanks
Hello Ulf. I have attached a sample. I am suspecting that my problem is lack of memory. My MS Surface has only 4G. Next week I will have access to my desktop with 16G memory and 1TB of hard drive space. Otherwise it is something I am not doing right.
I Feel it Still Sample.dorico (1.1 MB)
It looks as if you don’t have any reverb plug-ins loaded, and none of your channels are sending any signal to the FX 1 channel in any case. So you need to do two things: in the Mixer, make sure it’s tall enough to show the upper section containing the Inserts and Sends sections. For the FX 1 channel, load your preferred reverb plug-in into one of the Inserts slots (e.g. you could use the REVerence plug-in that comes with Dorico). Then for each of your other output channels, activate the little power button in the Sends section so that some signal is sent to the FX 1 channel.
Thanks a bunch this is very helpful. I was able to select the RV reverb to each player. This helps because I need to assign the reverb Fx to the mixer.
