I changed computer and my Cubase 9 cant work

Hi ! I recently got a new computer, and now I try to use Cubase 9, and it can’t work. I can open the software, but when I try to connect my Audio Interface, nothing can be connected. In the VST connection section, I can’t find my UR22mkII, it just says “not connected”. Honeslty I don’t know what to do, everything is plugged like it was with my last computer. Can someone help me ?

Hi and welcome to the forum!
It all depends on your Cubase version (Pro, Artist etc) and if you have got a dongle. Without dongle Cubase 9 will not work anymore. But first things first: which version do you have and do you have a dongle (physical USB eLicenser)?

Beside what @Reco29 already asked, what operating system are you using?

Doesn’t sound like a license problem if you already have it open.

To connect the UR interface make sure you installed the UR software then select the UR as the audio device - The menu names changed in recent versions but I think it will be something like device setup on yours. Once the UR22 ASIO driver is selected you should be able to set up connections in vst connection…if you still see not connected click where it says that to choose the outs 1 and 2 for Left and Right.

After reading the initial post once again I’m with you @Grim . It seems like it’s about the audiointerface and not about installing a Cubase 9 version on a new rig.

It finally worked ! I thought it was a license problem but I had to redownload Yamaha Asio Driver (I thought I did but I guess that was the missing step) Thank you !
