I do enjoy Christmas writing with Dorico

I like brass and percussion in chamber ensembles. I took an interest in setting “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen” and it came out like this. A different treatment, but I think it works.

I posted a WW Quintet/Percussion arrangement of Holst’s “In the Bleak Midwinter” last year,
but have arranged it for String Orchestra. The strings are Synchron Prime Elite Strings, and the solo at the end is SSO2024 Solo Violin 1.

It’d be nice to see what others are doing, too.

On the topic of God rest ye merry gentlemen, here’s a version I made last year for a wind ensemble.

I really like the way your more traditional setting (I like your use of tubular bells) goes into the fun jazz setting and your colorful harmonization. Totally different approach than mine- so nice to hear yours.. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing!

Here’s one I did recently in honor of Dolly Parton…

Once Upon a Christmas

Very nice. A fine tribute to a genuinely kind, altruistic and gifted artist.
