I don't get Halion SonicSE3 Quick Controls - why is there no way to assign parameters?

Doesn’t make sense to me at all, sort of a huge oversight how you can’t assign Halion Instrument parameters to the 8 internal Quick Controls.

I have figured out, that Halions internal 8x Quick Controls, aren’t necessarily representative of the Instruments Rack/Track quick controls but can be assigned as so. They are separate, but can be connected.

But there’s no way for the user to actually connect what they want of a Halion Program/Instrument to the internal quick controls nor rack/track quick controls…

ie, I can’t connect ‘Filter Frequency’ to an internal quick control or track/rack quick control unless the program already by default has made that connection.

Is this something that can only be done in Halion Sonic 3 full version?

Yes, exactly that.

Okay interesting… sort of counter-productive in terms of promoting and selling a product, it just makes it look poorly designed without any knowledge that the paid version has the feature

There’s not much you can edit in SE version. It’s just a player. You have the pre-assigned quick controls and possibly a macro page.

But you can assign your own quick controls in both Halion Sonic 3 and Halion 6.

Yeah, I don’t know why they couldn’t give us ADSR. I mean, that’s the bare minimum.
