I was working on a session in Cubase 12.0.30 I added a new track and i Enable The L button to listen
After that, I deleted the track without deactivating the L Button in the track
And then the surprise that I couldn’t hear the rest of the tracks, I made a UNDO using Control Z
to deactivated The letter “L” and delete the track again
And I Press PLAY the tracks again and it became normal
My question is, why if I delete the track, do I have to cancel the listening mode when it is already erased?
I can’t hear anything until I put it back again and deactivate it
Hi,
I would consider this as a bug. I will report this to Steinberg. Thank you.

I can confirm this bug on Windows 11. Latest versions of “everything”. All you have to do is press the red “L” button on the mixer to get sound back, but when deleting a track I’d say that is not logical behavior

Hi,
Do you think it’s new in Cubase 12?
I tried it in the latest Cubase 11. Same behavior there.

the state of the mixer stays like this after deleting the channel - press the red “L” and it is back to normal.
