Hi, does anyone know that when using Groove Agent SE 6, when I drag a sample with BPM metadata to a pad (it works fine if the sample has no metadata), it automatically enables Warp and Loop? Does anyone know how to prevent it from enabling these features?
Hi, @Linn_123
In order to test this further, I would need more precisions on the following :
- What’s the sample format ?
- Is it available as a bundled sample in Cubase installation, thus, available in Medaibay and if not, can you upload it here ?
- Where are both warp and loop enebled - in the arrange page (screenshots would help) ?
-
WAV, and the issue only occurs with WAV files that contain BPM metadata. Additionally, I recall that audio files in non-WAV formats cannot be dragged onto Groove Agent’s pads.

No. I tested other audio files, and the same issue arises as long as they have BPM metadata.
this issue does not exist in Groove Agent 5 or Groove Agent SE 5.
Thank you for your willingness to help.
OK, I have tested this further and indeed, the loop isn’t automatically activated in GA5 when loading a sample with BPM info. Unable to explain the bahavior change in GA SE6, I admit… ![]()
