Hi, yep, I’ve got a Threadripper 3970X 32Core/64 Threads and am experiencing the problems with it, where it looks like the CPU is mostly single core and out of whack.

I’m happy to Beta test code updates

PM me if this is possible. I’d really like to be able to use this computer to its potential.

As an update if anyone is paying attention to this. Just something I noticed when running Cubase and looking at the CPU resource monitor.

Instead of seeing CPU Core usage starting at the top with Core 0 and then incrementally through cores, it’s weird.

Core 0, lots of activity then nothing or nothing much until Core 10, then 32 and 36. Then again nothing until all the way down to Core 63, which is getting hit the hardest out of all of the Cores.

So obviously this is allocating resources sequentially. And the order of cores really doesn’t make sense.

I’m hoping that this helps.

Hi there - I just posted a topic on this as well. My Core 63 is basically pegged, with everything else running 0-9% Constant audio dropouts.

Have you been able to find a workaround for the time being?

And yes, I realize this post is 10 months old, butstill nothing from Steinberg?
