I am new to Dorico coming over from Finale. Somehow, I hit some button on one piece I was working on that now prevents audio in playback. But when I open another piece, it plays fine. My tech-savvy wife has looked it over and can’t find it either. Please help.

Do Play > Playback Template, and press Apply and Close. Wait for the “power” button in the playback toolbar to turn blue.
It plays fine for me after that.
Out of curiosity, wouldn’t just clicking the button do the same thing? I’ll admit I never have 2 projects open at the same time.
I closed the one that worked. The only one open is the one that won’t play audio back.
Also, I tried your suggestion and it’s still not playing, either by devices or by the standard audio on the computer.
Now the other one isn’t working. We must have done something on this device. Thanks for the suggestions.
it didn’t work when I first loaded it but after choosing the Auto playback template, it starts to play. Did you try that one?
When I opened the project, playback was enabled, but it still wasn’t producing any sound. Reapplying the playback template got it to work for me.
