I have Cubase 12 pro and don't use anymore the USB dongle, can I uninstall elicenser control now?

Hi there,

I was wondering if I can uninstall eLicenser control app now that I use Cubase 12 pro and don’t have Steinberg products with the old dongle protection. I don’t use anymore my USB dongle.

Why would you want to do this?

The eLicenser control center will automatically reappear, because it is installed/updated as soon as you start the Download Assistant.

Not at the moment , some licences for the content are still with the Elicnecer AFAIK …BUT there might be a surprise shortly to move everything over to the new system
