I have Cubase 5. I’ve recorded MIDI tracks. Now I want to convert them to Audio. How to do it?
I’ve tried to define Group Track (Bus), but it seems on Cubase 5 it is not possible to redirect MIDI track output to Group Track (Bus).
So I confused how to record MIDI tracks to Audio. Please advise. Thank you!

Midi is not sound, it is only instructions, like get a piano and play this note for this long. That’s all.
You need a virtual instrument(like sonic) that will turn the midi into sound.
Or was this played on an external keyboard? you can hook that up to your audio interface, send the midi to it and record the sound it makes.
Once you have the audio parts then there’s a lot of things you can do.
