i have upgraded from cubase elements to cubase pro ,do i have to purchase dorico separetly
Yes, Dorico is a completely separate product.

You can find it on the Steinberg website
On the other hand Cubase Pro does come with a built in Score Editor that while not nearly as powerful as Dorico can handle all the basics (and then some). Depending on your needs that might be enough.
