Gday All.
I’m a little confused. I’ll break it down simply. I have Spectralayers 9 as an icon on my laptop and when I open it up, it says that it is Pro 9. I can’t remember buying or upgrading to this, sO i checked the download assist and it looks like it was downloaded with my Cubase 12. Now I thought it was just Spectralayers one (or the lite version) that was installed with Cubase, so do I have Pro or not?? It looks like I have all the options for Pro. Would love to clear this up before i think of upgrading to Pro 12.
Cheers Matt
C12 included Spectral Layers One 9. If you can run the SL Pro version, it might be a 60 day trial version. Other than that I’d have no idea what’s going on.
Yeah, I wasn’t sure if that was the case or not? Any idea if the 60 day trial starts from when you install Cubase 12 or when you start a project in SL 9, coz I upgraded to CB 12 two years ago. Wish there was a countdown clock or something
You had to have actively downloaded the Pro version. If this started two years ago I think we can rule out the trial version.
Maybe you are just lucky that you can run SL Pro but it won’t entitle you to updating it.
Yeah, lucky-unlucky. I would assume that if I wanted to upgrade this SL pro 9 to 12, it would need to be in my licensed products. Oh well, thanks for the info Johnny
