I lose the track selection when automating a parameter

Hello,

I lose the track selection when automating a parameter
It quite disturb the workflow.

After automating a parameter of a track, the track get deselected and another track get selected, I have no idea why…

Hi, I couldn’t see the video because it requires login, however, do you have any midi remotes involved, or Mackie type? I recall that with one of my controllers (using Mackie and having track selection based on knobs/faders movement) I had erratic track selections because of a malfunctioning knob (one that was turning very slightly but obviously enough to change the selected track).
Other than that, in case you have midi remotes, you may want to check whether a midi CC you use in automation is at the same time assigned to some track selection function.

I do have a NanoKontrol2. I will try unplug it next time I don’t have this problem and I’ll get back to you. thanks !

I’m having the issue again.
I tried to unplug my NanoKontrol2 but that didn’t help.
Any idea what I should do ? :confused:

So, what does your macro do ? Does it select the tracks whose events are selected ?

The macro toggle the preference and the “write” fonction.
