Wonder how long until GA 6 itself comes out. Barely bought 5 a year ago (I wanted to edit my patterns, only reason I needed to upgrade from SE haha) and noticed C15 wiped out 5 SE, so I hope opening stuff in it wont cause any problems with the full version of 5.
Yes, Groove Agent 5 SE becomes Groove Agent 6 SE after updating Cubase to 15, while (for now) Groove Agent 5 remains unchanged and everything works as before – at least as far as I can tell right now.
(there is an issue with the recent content update affecting Simon Philips Jazz Drums extension requiring a rescan, but the issue was there before the C15/GA6SE update).
Oh no.! Wait - do you still have your C14 install in place (you didn’t uninstall first) and are you saying inside there, no GA 5 SE is to be found, only GA 6 SE.? Or are you just talking about inside C15 alone.?
My next thought, might GA 6 SE be usable in C14 now.? I didn’t check this myself earlier; some projects definitely need GA.. will have to look into it tomorrow.
Only GA 6 SE regardless of what host version, but it seamlessly replaces GA 5 SE, so if a project had GA 5 SE, it now opens with GA 6 SE, and GA 6 SE is usable in C14 (presumably as long as you have activated your C15 license).
When reading through the feature list (then trying it later), this was absolutely my number one new feature!!! I can’t say how many times I’ve scrolled the wrong way because Cubase was backwards from other Windows applications (and I use many applications).
