I muted solo track but all track muted

Hi,

If I mute one voice track, all the other tracks get muted too.

If you know how to fix it, please let me know.

Thank you.

Do you happen to use NotePerformer as VSTinstrument? In that case it is normal, because NotePerformer has it’s own internal mixer and only a stereo signal gets handed out to Dorico.

If you don’t use NotePerformer, please create a project that exposes that behaviour and post as attachment. Thanks

Oh Do you mean “HALion Sonic”? I change the routing as a 01-DoricoBeep and It solved! Thank you so much. But In other projects, I used “HALion Sonic” and there weren’t any problems so I’m little bit confused.

Glad to hear that it is solved, though I still don’t know what exactly you did and how it solved your problem.

Oh no It isn’t solved yet. There are one soprano track and one voice track, but it seems they are coming from a single channel.

Have a look at the HALion Sonic mixer page (yellow circled). All instruments are routed to the main output (orange circled). By default normally it is Main, Out2, Out3, etc. but I don’t know why it is not in your case. What if you start a new project from let’s say classical orchestra template, how is the routing in HALion Sonic then?

I don’t think I’ve ever changed the output channel. But I set them all back to the individual channels and it worked! Thank you. I started a new project and this is it!

Yes, with the new project the routing is all correct.

With your other project, well, I don’t know how it could happen. Let’s hope it was only a single occurrence and won’t happen any more…

Yes! But thanks to your help, I won’t get lost with this anymore!
