I plan to use Nuendo in a theater horror-show for surround playback and automation. I have a 6.1.6 setup where the 6 last are zones in the floor-construction. Center is N/A - I plan to control everything from Bitfocus Companion. I can transmit custom MIDI SysEX binary messages directly to a MAC from my Companion Server, or via a interpreter software. OSC is also an option. Here I am thinking OSCulator to translate the incomming OSC to MIDI. I’m running Nuendo 15.
I have not been able to configure Nuendo correctly to respond to Locate MMC commands. I would like Nuendo to be able to STOP. And then relocate in STANDBY. Then receive a PLAY and continue. - Further more I will be triggering Sample Tracks via plain MIDI on top of everything.
Any thoughts on this setup? Can it work? If you have any inputs it’s highly appreciated.
