I use Cakewalk for score notation, I have question

Good day, I use Cakewalk for notation because after As I press a note, I hear a long sound when I press it. That suits me for composition.
I want to ask if it is possible to set the cubase for notation in the same way as for Cakewalk. Press a note and move it around the score and hear the sound as you swipe the staff.

The little speaker icon at the top should play the notes. I personally haven’t had a positive experience with it though.

As a side note, I used Cakewalk for decades, since ver 2, and primarily input MIDI with the score editor (even wrote a symphony). I never learned to use the key editor. When Gibson destroyed Cakewalk, I moved to Cubase because I primarily compose in MIDI. I found the Cubase score editor unusable. So I learned to use the key editor. I now produce in Cubase and score in Dorico. The new Cubase Score editor is usable but different from Dorico.

I know about the fact that the sound will play when I insert a note, but, I specifically need that when I press the mouse, the sound plays without stopping and when I move the mouse up and down, the sound changes at the same time, (not after clicking again!! !). That’s how it’s handled in Cakewalk, and I’m used to writing music like that. I’m asking because I’d like something similar for mac, but unfortunately this system only works with Cakewalk for windows.

Unfortunately it does not at the moment.
The score editor is brand new and I feel this is something that could be added for an upcoming version.
@StefanFuhrmann - please have a look if this could be put on your to do list.

I think, already acknowledged here. Hopefully being added in future…

It would be good if this feature was added.
