I want to buy elements v8. Can I run v8 with v9 licence?

Hi,

I want to have Elements 8 on my laptop… so I can carry on using 32-bit plugins.

I have v8.5 & 9 of Cubase Pro on my desktop but don’t want to fart around carrying dongles everywhere.

Can I purchase Elements 9 from Steinberg and then DL v8 elements and run that? Or do I have to buy one of the remaining store copies floating around?

Also just noticing that the link to the Cubase 8.5 pro installer download seems to have been removed from My Steinberg! :astonished:

You will have to ask support to send you a download link but yes you can run elements 8 on your elements 9 license.

Think you need to look again more closely… You click on the link for the full installation and it takes you to MySteinberg which only offers v9.
