I came from SONAR and there is a small thing that I can’t find in Cubase. In SONAR, I could choose to show the waveform of a group channel (called a bus in SONAR) live! That means, for example, you can alternatively bypass and activate a compressor on a channel and you see the immediate difference on the waveform, that changes while the track is playing. That’s awesome.
In Cubase, I haven’t found such an option. What I do is rendering a part of the track to see the waveform… That takes much more time.
