I use DAWS to mix livestreams for livebands. Of course with Livestream you want to have the lowest latency and Cubase has the worst performance with low latency. For example, running 24 tracks at 24bit/96khz at a buffer of 64 samples on my ASIO soundcard causes Cubase to peak at 100% and that’s even before I turn Recording and monitoring on where-as in Studio One, I could run the same project and same settings and I would have a 11 msec latency and a my cpu reading of 47%. Close to 50 plugins in use.
