In this case I wasn’t talking about how cheap or expensive Cubase is, or is compared to other DAWs, just that we all pay the same price for Cubase, whether we be hobbyists, like myself, or the owner of a top-flight studio. It was a response to a comment that more “prosumers” use Cubase than pros.

If a non-pro race car driver wants to buy a race car, they still pay the same price.
It would be impossible for Steinberg to differentiate between pro users and non-pro users. Are they to ask for peoples tax slips?
The Apple (Logic) vs Windows (Cubase) debate always has these déjà vu vibes to it… One or two arguments sound vaguely familiar to me 
I’m most focused on Apple Logic and Cubase MAC version
