I’m betting that this is something one could do oneself with a controller or two and several VSTi. It’s just a matter of thinking about the basic sounds one wants and then how one wants to input control data. A fair amount of work to get it done but probably doable.
Thanks for sharing btw, it’s interesting. I think it might be a cool and different approach to building templates/instruments/patches for sound design for picture.

The cracking function very much reminds me of a hurdy-gurdy. I’m also reminded of the famous Ondes Martienot: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ondes_Martenot, and even the Kurzweil K2600’s ribbon controller (which never worked very well imho).
