I use one orchestral template and like to update my old projects with my newly created MIX TEMPLATES so I can filter my mixer to woodwinds, strings, brass etc. only.
Is there a way to export/import these settings? I really miss that

You can import Channel Settings from other project.
this article states:
The following mixer settings are not imported: the channel visibility and zone settings, the record-enable status, the send destination, and the device panel settings.
Maybe I was a bit unclear but I meant the channel visibility menu entries
