Hello. I’m trying to type dim. e rit. When I select Shift+D and type, only dim. is entered. Do I need to input more by pressing Shift+X? Thank you.

You can do this by using the Suffix property.

Note that the rit won’t play back, because to Dorico this is just a dynamic indication. But you can add a rit. separately with the Tempo popover and then hide it.
